About this project

The project contributes to securing the land ownership rights of households that have benefited from agrarian reform and to their active commitment to sustainable land use practices for the protection and restoration of the environment, thus improving their livelihoods. Particular attention is paid to the resolution of disputes, as the influence of economic and political interests and resistance from large landowners is leading to the reversal of the designation of land earmarked for agrarian reform. The project also focuses on promoting sustainable agriculture on the land awarded to the beneficiaries of the agrarian reform and on claiming and receiving state support for it.
