About this project
Informal settlers and therefore poor people in coastal cities are particularly affected by the current and future impacts of climate change. Depending on the season, these include regular flooding or drinking water shortages. Knowledge about the effects of the climate crisis is limited, both among the population and among decision-makers and other relevant actors. This is where the project comes in, addressing municipal decision-makers, scientists, representatives of civil society and poor target groups in order to develop climate action plans at municipal and national level and secure their financing.
