About this project

The aim of the project is to strengthen and qualify associations and social movements of women, young people and small farmers in land reform settlements in the diocese of Gurabira in the Brazilian state of Paraíba so that they can improve their living conditions by further developing their agroecological production and solidarity-based economic enterprises and advocate a poverty-oriented infrastructure and social policy and socio-ecological change at a political and social level. This is done by means of courses, workshops, agroecological advice, exchange and networking meetings as well as start-up support for solidarity economy enterprises and the development of fruit and vegetable gardens and small animal husbandry.
