Strengthening local agriculture and rural community-based groups in India

About this project

Agriculture as a main source of income is increasingly threatened in the mountain regions of India. The project executing organisation is therefore pursuing an integrated approach that focuses on launching innovative and climate-resilient agricultural products to increase productivity and promoting community-based institutions to strengthen communities and ensure access to government services. Finally, more intensive cooperation between regional stakeholders such as civil society, research and government institutions is intended to promote collaboration on crisis management.
