About this project

In the project region, the water and sanitation supply, as well as the hygiene and waste situation, is extremely poor. There is neither awareness nor practice. This applies to both the general population in the communities and schoolchildren in schools. Therefore, the project partner is active with the individual measures in both public spaces and schools. Among other things, new sanitary facilities are being installed to contain water-related diseases and awareness-raising measures are being implemented. The project partner maintains good relations with political decision-makers – lobbying and advocacy activities are also part of the project.
