Project to strengthen the resilience of local communities in the Sahel in times of insecurity

About this project

The project aims to improve the living conditions of the population in the Dori region, which is suffering from the difficult security situation due to massive ethnic and religious conflicts. Many measures are therefore also aimed directly at internal migrants who have had to flee their villages of origin and have now been taken in by host families who themselves live in precarious conditions. The measures aim to improve access to water and agricultural inputs, include activities for conflict resolution and peaceful interaction between the affected population and involve local organizations and institutions in the work in a holistic manner.
