About this project

The project contributes to improving the socio-economic living conditions and peaceful conflict resolution of smallholder and pastoralist communities. This is to be achieved through a sustainable increase in production in smallholder farming and animal husbandry, through the reduction of local conflicts and intensified cooperation between smallholder farmers and herders, as well as through improving the skills of the targeted households in terms of value creation and marketing of agricultural products from smallholder farming and animal husbandry. The activities include training, mentoring, equipment for seed storage and presentation at seed fairs, provision of seed and livestock, learning visits and networking, public relations work, monitoring and evaluation.
