Integrated rural development project in Malawi

About this project

The project aims to contribute to improving the socio-economic well-being of smallholder households in rural areas. Agroecological production systems are to be optimised and contribute to improving the food security of the target group. At the same time, a political framework to promote agroecological concepts and practices in the project area is to be developed and implemented. The planned activities range from training, distribution of seeds and livestock, establishment of a seed database to support for natural regeneration, training and workshops, radio programmes, monitoring and networking.
