About this project
The project aims to improve access to clean drinking water in rural areas around the capital Lomé in rural areas. The target group, the rural population from several communities, is to be given the opportunity to improve personal hygiene and hygiene through the construction of three well systems with water storage tanks and training on hygiene standards. With technical support from the project team, but mainly through their own efforts, 800 people will build their own latrines and permanently change their behavior. Some community members, especially vulnerable or young people, will be supported in creating income-generating activities so that they can generate capital to invest in improving their personal access to hygiene.
