Commitment to a sustainable agricultural and land policy based on resilient agroecological cultivation areas

About this project

The inhabitants of the project area in central Senegal suffer from land degradation, water scarcity, deforestation and insecure usage rights, which is a particular problem for women and young people. Local knowledge is being displaced and sustainable resources are difficult to access. The project aims to establish a sustainable and integrative agroecology that is supported by the state. Funding is provided for training, public relations work, workshops, lobbying and exchange, as well as the purchase of software, projectors and office equipment. The target groups are family farms, pupils and students, village committees, local councils, specialist authorities, the professional public and media users.
