About this project

Lack of access to safe drinking water is one of the main causes of health problems, conflicts and discrimination against women in the Democratic Republic of Congo. The aim is therefore to improve access to drinking water and hygiene behavior as well as the participation of women in the water committees. Construction measures and support are being financed to promote improved hygiene and the participation of women. The target group is the majority poor population in areas with particular drinking water problems.
