About this project
In a region that is already feeling the effects of climate change, it is important to raise awareness of the problem and the possibility of combating it through sustainable agriculture. The direct target group consists of 5,000 people (2,000 men, 1,500 women and 1,500 young adults/adolescents). The aim of the project is to support the population in coping with the effects of climate change, among other things by setting up climate change task force groups, and to strengthen the food security of the households reached through adapted agriculture. Women, who are traditionally more involved in agriculture and responsible for feeding their families, and are therefore more affected by the negative effects of climate change, are an important target group.
