About this project
The expansion of the agricultural industry in Paraguay has led to an escalation of land conflicts and a threat to the livelihoods of smallholder and indigenous communities. In Particular young people lack sustainable prospects in rural areas. To promote socio-ecological transformation, smallholder and indigenous communities are being supported in their self-administration and organisation, young people are being empowered in terms of skills and resilience, and networking processes for political influence are being expanded to ensure that sustainable agriculture is given greater consideration at various levels. This is being achieved in particular through consultancies, exchange meetings, workshops, public relations work, discussion series and networking meetings.
