About this project
The project contributes to the food security of vulnerable target groups. The target groups include women and children as well as internally displaced persons who have to build up an emergency existence far from their place of origin without any resources. As providing food and opportunities for sustaining their livelihoods further exacerbates the scarcity of available resources, conflicts between displaced persons and locals are common. To deal with this complex situation, the project combines conflict resolution measures and emergency aid with development measures to help people help themselves.
