About this project

The project offers literacy courses with a focus on active participation in the community: the courses cover reading and writing, basic numeracy skills, basic business skills and negotiation strategies. The latter are intended to support the population, which is characterised by small-scale farming, in knowing and defending their rights, especially land rights. The beneficiaries are also offered additional training on agroecology. This is intended to support them in adapting their agricultural activities to the already visible effects of climate change. This also contributes to food security.
