About this project
The project supports indigenous communities affected by poverty, environmental pollution and depletion of natural resources, which expose them to food insecurity. The aim of the project is to improve the living conditions of these communities through workshops, events, campaigns and exchanges that will foster agroecology, good hygiene and nutritional practices and the protection of natural resources. Maternal and child health is one of the projects most important areas of work: the proposed intercultural approach allows for the appreciation of indigenous identity and the right of indigenous women to culturally safe childbirth.
