About this project

This project aims to address food insecurity and socio-economic vulnerability in rural districts with predominantly rain-fed agriculture and widespread environmental degradation. It aims to improve agricultural productivity through sustainable farming practices, soil and water conservation, and livelihood diversification. The project also focuses on enhancing safe water access, reducing youth unemployment, and empowering women by increasing their participation and leadership in community-based institutions. Strengthening local community-based institutions is a key component to ensure community ownership and sustainability of development initiatives.
