About this project

Smallholder farmers, fishermen and indigenous people are especially especially affected by the consequences of climate change and resource scarcity. Land titles are often not secure. (Marine) mining and unsustainable investments lead to the loss of livelihoods. There is a lack of marketing strategies and basic education. The project pursues a participatory, integrative development approach. The measures help the target group to use their land, human resources, and municipal facilities profitably for their own development despite deteriorating political, economic, and climatic conditions.
