About this project

This project combines adaptation to climate change, mitigation and disaster prevention. Smallholder farmers cooperate with universities to scientifically refine innovative methods. Climate model villages are being set up to showcase many innovative methods in the areas of adaptation, mitigation and disaster prevention, thus serving as examples. The focus of this project phase, besides farming, will be placed on marketing and income generation in order to incentivise young farmers applying agroecological principles and seeking a main occupation in agriculture.
