About this project
The project aims to enable the local population of two rural communities to ensure their own food security. To this end, the target groups will be trained in sustainable gardening and agriculture as well as income-generating activities and will receive material support. With financial contributions from the beneficiaries, irrigated garden areas will be modernized to enable gardening even during the dry season. As the implementing organization will withdraw from the project areas after the end of the project, local committees will be set up to ensure that the project results are continued. In addition, employees of the respective municipalities and local technical services will be supported in integrating the project results into municipal development plans. This will ensure that the measures are also implemented at a higher institutional level and in cooperation with the local committees.
