About this project
Insufficient diversification, low value creation, limited access to advisory and financial services, and changing climatic conditions lead to persistently uncertain living conditions for smallholder farmers. The project aims to improve their food security and income opportunities by promoting agroecological farming methods, strengthening markets, and influencing policy. The focus is on capacity-building measures, the further development of sustainable agricultural practices, the diversification of products and sales channels, and raising consumer awareness. Continuous advocacy strengthens land rights and political participation.
