About this project

Despite its own ambitious climate targets, Colombia is severely affected by the impacts of climate change. The consequences of the ongoing armed conflict and structural inequality also exacerbate crises and conflicts, which affect women and minorities in particular. The project strengthens grassroots organisations so that they can develop and advocate for an agenda for sustainable peace and territorial environmental justice. To this end, positive approaches to peacebuilding are being systematised. Plans include the creation and updating of training materials for participatory systematisation, regional and national workshop series, inter-regional seminars on mapping good practices, communication materials, and the publication and dissemination of an agenda for sustainable peace.
