About this project

People in the south-eastern outskirts of Cochabamba, in the Ushpa Ushpa area, suffer from precarious living conditions. Income levels are low, public services are inadequate and the food situation is poor. Furthermore, climate change is having a negative impact on people’s living conditions and food security. This project contributes to improving living conditions through the establishment of agroecological kitchen gardens. This enables families to produce their own food and improves the availability of healthy food. They reduce their dependence on external supplies and improve their economic situation.
