About this project

The resilience of coastal communities particularly vulnerable to climate change is strengthened. The focus is on enhancing self-help capacities, strengthening civil society representation through peoples’ organizations and climate action forums, as well as analyzing and integrating local priorities into the government’s climate adaptation plans. Capacity building in areas such as agroecological practices, climate field schools, climate-resilient income sources, and disaster preparedness aims to ensure the long-term livelihoods of these vulnerable coastal communities. This is achieved through close cooperation with local stakeholders, networks, universities, and government at all levels.
