About this project

The project area is facing serious food insecurity due to climate disasters, poor agriculture, and soil degradation. The target group is dependent on rain-fed agriculture. Conflicts have destroyed their livelihoods, increased gender-based violence, and strained social cohesion. The project aims to strengthen the resilience of conflict-affected communities by promoting peace and social cohesion, empowering women and girls, and improving livelihoods. Its targets are smallholder farmers, youth, women, girls, and community leaders. The key project activities include community dialogues, income-generating activities, and the promotion of agroecological and organic farming.
