About this project
The project, Community-Based Programme for Climate-Resilient and Sustainable Livelihoods in Satkhira, Bangladesh, aims to empower 5,000 marginalized households (25,000 people) against climate change impacts. Running from 15 November 2024 to 15 November 2027, it addresses vulnerabilities in water, sanitation, livelihoods, and governance. Key interventions include installing solar-powered water systems, climate-resilient sanitation, and promoting solid waste management. The project enhances sustainable agriculture, income diversification, and women-led green enterprises, including biodegradable sanitary napkins. It strengthens local governance for climate adaptation and builds organizational capacities of partners to ensure long-term impact.
