About this project
In the Afar and Amhara regions, where resources are limited, approximately 70,000 Eritrean refugees face significant challenges. The project focuses on improving Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) conditions and livelihood opportunities for both refugees and host communities. It targets food security by enhancing access to nutritious food, while also addressing WASH needs by improving clean water access and sanitation facilities. Additionally, the project aims to boost livelihoods through skill-building and income-generating activities, promoting self-reliance and resilience. This comprehensive approach addresses immediate necessities while striving for sustainable improvements in the well-being of vulnerable populations in the area.
