About this project
The proposed project aims to address these challenges in Grand Gedeh County and Montserrado County by promoting climate-resilient rice production and processing to create a dynamic rice sector that is resilient and market-driven, contributes to food and nutrition security, and promotes socio-economic growth. The planned measures will facilitate access to advisory services, high-quality inputs and technologies, improved agricultural infrastructures and market access. Through targeted advocacy, it seeks to influence both local and national agendas to prioritize locally grown rice. The project will advance System of Rice Intensification (SRI) technology, particularly in post-harvest handling and storage. The NIP for this project is Community of Hope Agriculture Project.
