About this project
The project aims to strengthen the capacities and rights awareness of vulnerable people in Kapilvastu district and empower them to effectively claim their right to food through targeted advocacy within community-based structures and participation in community planning processes. The project supports communities in developing food security strategies and contributes to their implementation by strengthening the capacity of government duty bearers and by promoting effective accountability mechanisms. A key concern is the promotion of gender equality and social inclusion (GESI). Women particularly affected by poverty and hunger will be supported to diversifytheir livelihoods through vocational training and entrepreneurial activities.
