About this project
The global program "Strengthening Rural Governance for the Right to Adequate Food" (Phase 2) aims to raise awareness and strengthen decision-makers from politics, administration and traditional structures in the project regions so that they can better meet their responsibility for realizing the right to food. Community members in rural regions of these countries as well as civil society organizations are to be sensitized and supported in holding duty bearers accountable for the right to food and entering into dialogue with them in order to achieve improvements. The program pursues a multi-level approach that links the micro level (communities and villages) with the meso level (districts, provinces) and the macro level.
