Transforming Her Resilience, Inclusion and Value in Economies (THRIVE)-WTE Signature Programme

About this project

The programme will deliver Gender Equality and Social Inclusion responsive economic outcomes, including increased and more equitable income opportunities for women, improved survival and growth of women‑led enterprises, expanded access to inclusive finance and markets, and strengthened digital, entrepreneurial, and climate resilient skills, particularly for women with disabilities. Structural change will be supported through more gender‑responsive and inclusive economic policies, increased institutional commitment to women’s economic rights, and enhanced participation of women in economic governance and decision‑making spaces. At household and community levels, improved economic agency and resilience of women will contribute to reduced vulnerability to climate and economic shocks and improved household stability. Safeguarding, accessibility, community accountability, and adaptive learning mechanisms will ensure that women, especially those facing intersecting forms of exclusion, can safely access opportunities, influence programme delivery, and drive sustainable change.
