About this project
Through this new project, Fundacion Nuna will continue to work with school children and families, particularly women and the elderly, in indigenous campesino communities in the La Paz department in Bolivia. The project is based on a series of interconnected approaches in which the team provide bespoke support to assist participant families in improving: a) their agroecological production (including livestock) so that families have more diverse food available for consumption and to bring in income b) access to water for consumption, irrigation, and sanitation on their homestead and c) wellbeing in the home, family and community through workshops and spaces for reflection on self-esteem and values (including violence).
