About this project

Caritas Development Goma plays a central role in the activities of ACEAC (Central African Episcopal Conferences), which brings together Catholic bishops from Burundi, the DRC, and Rwanda. Based in Goma, this organization benefits from a strategic position that facilitates logistics and transportation for members during ACEAC activities. Thanks to its cross-border position, Caritas Goma can effectively engage with other humanitarian organizations, both within the DRC and in neighboring countries. It also hosts numerous international partners for development and emergency initiatives in Eastern DRC. Without this vehicle, Caritas Goma’s operations would be significantly hindered, affecting: ?Work on ACEAC: Inefficiency during organized events for ACEAC would compromise collaboration and the spirit of humanitarian exchange. ?Emergency Response: Emergency interventions require quick access to isolated areas, which is crucial for the protection and early recovery of affected communities. ?Integrated Services: Effective logistics are essential to provide integrated services to vulnerable populations.
