About this project

This proposal outlines a transformative and sustainable path that establishes resilient, community led food systems within Pujehun and Western Rural Districts of Sierra Leone and prioritizes safe food production without artificial chemical inputs especially on small land spaces (Pujehun main town and Western Rural Area), thereby strengthening both personal health and local ecosystems in line with effective management of the environment for climate change modulation. Through a blend of demonstration farms, capacity building, research, policy advocacy, robust coalitions and network building, this project will not only enhance local food access and environmental quality but also create dignified, inclusive livelihood opportunities for farmers, women, youths and persons with disabilities thereby ensuring equitable participation and economic development.
