About this project

Pillar 1 of DEC Appeal TOC focuses on addressing immediate suffering and building resilience in crisis-impacted communities by improving access to essential services and infrastructure. Outcome 1 aims to meet the WASH needs of returnees in Beirut, Nabatiyeh, and South Lebanon through the rehabilitation of water networks, which meets basic WASH needs and sets a foundation for long-term recovery. Outcome 2 improves living conditions and enhances community resilience by addressing housing and community service needs, along with awareness activities on CP, GBV, and WASH to empower and protect vulnerable groups, fostering both short-term recovery and long-term stability. Pillar 2 emphasises improving humanitarian action through innovation and learning, with a focus on collaboration, adaptability, and community-driven responses. Activities in both outcomes integrate learning and feedback from relevant stakeholders, ensuring a flexible and quality response while empowering local actors to manage future interventions and promoting accountability.
