About this project
The THRIVE Project will directly empower at least 400 individuals and their families (80% women) across Dagoretti and Kangemi informal settlements to break the interlinked cycles of poverty and gender-based violence. The project offers a holistic response through climate-smart urban farming, vocational skills training for employability through BOH’s Community Skilling model, robust GBV protection services, and integrated linkages with community, government, non-government and private sector stakeholders and even institutions such as schools and religious institutions. By improving income generation and market opportunities, the THRIVE Project aims to contribute to the sustainable livelihoods of families, offering a tangible expression of God's love and justice.
