About this project

The fund received a total of 84 submissions, each showcasing a diverse range of proposals that covered various aspects including project overviews, inspiration, narrative approaches, diversity and inclusivity models, intersectionality, ethical considerations, personal statements, as well as detailed budgets and timelines. Over the course of a month, the independent panel of jurors reviewed each submission, considering both the artistic merit and the potential impact of the projects, and based on several key criteria: project overview, inspiration, narrative approach, diversity and inclusivity models, intersectionality, ethical considerations, personal statements, budget, and timeline. After thorough deliberation, two outstanding awardees were selected based on their compelling narratives, innovative approaches, and alignment with the fund’s mission. These awardees have been onboarded and have commenced the development of their respective projects. Feedback from the jury underscored the high quality of submissions and the challenging task of selecting only two recipients from such a competitive pool.
