About this project
The proposed project seeks to strengthen and expand independent monitoring capacities to address the increasing technical complexity of remediation activities, while also advocating for the replication of the proven Ogoni monitoring model across the wider Niger Delta. In parallel, the project aims to enhance the governance of Host Community Development Trusts by promoting transparent decision-making and regular feedback to communities, and by providing targeted capacity-building support to HCDT leadership and relevant regulators to improve efficiency, effectiveness, responsiveness, and accountability
