About this project

The Namaa Project main goal is Improving subsurface water drainage, landscaping and water-smart agriculture in Northern Jordan Valley through integrated water resources management and innovative infrastructure, including 47 km of underground subsurface drainage. By building institutional capacity and introducing new technologies, Namaa enhances food security, farmer incomes, and rural stability, benefiting over 180,000 people in the JV.The project is based on a direct request from the Jordan Valley Authority to support their mandate in water resource management and subsurface drainage.
