About this project

CECI , will contribute by implementing these activities in Yumbe and Obongi district, CECI will embark on selecting key community influencers in championing adolescent girls participation in schools, training the influencers on gender trans-formative education . conducting community sensitization on some of the barriers preventing girls from accessing and participating in schools. the campaigns will purposely be in the targeted communities of the project sites. Development of IEC materials, radio talk show etc. The following are some of the activities that CECI will conduct: Conduct community sensitization on discriminatory gender norms and positivemasculinity using Gender Action Learning Systems (GALs) Disseminate key campaign messages via socialmedia/radio/broadcast Facilitate community dialogues with key community and government officials on BCC campaign topicDesign peace-building, conflict management, mediation, dispute resolution, risk reduction and response training Conduct a ToT on peacebuilding, conflict management, mediation, dispute resolution, and risk reduction and response, targeting community leaders, youth, and community influencers Support trained community leaders, youth, and community influencers to conduct social-cultural events bringing people together for social cohesion Provide pocket guidelines for community leaders, youth, and community influencers as guidance when conducting training/outreach in the community
