About this project

RELON is a refugee led Network with expertise in coordinating activities of CBOs, identifying opportunities for mutual learning andimproved opportunities and influencing advocacy for refugees to be able to voice their issues in a unified manner. RELON will identify members of its network particularly women to participate in capacity building trainings especially on gender transformative leadership, identifying training opportunities for these women to learn and share their experiences. RELON will jointly participate in development of advocacy strategies, develop relevant tools to be used in advancing gender trans formative education and coordinate indissemination of the tools. Jointly with the policy makers hold sessions to advance the right to gender responsive education at National, subnational and community levels . Conduct influencing sessions to with the policy makers. Conduct trainings of other RLOs within networks on effective advocacy / influencing strategies and tools. Providing coordination among the different CBOs within andoutside the project, as the project is looking at enhancing and strengthening the capacities of the CBO on championing Gender transformative education. Provide platforms that promote participation of other CBOsat relevant local, regional and international spaces
