ONL Contribution to GHT CAT Fund

About this project

Every year ON makes an annual contribution to the GHT CAT Fund project, which is a virtual OI pot to enable us to respond very quickly to emergencies without having to wait for funding from external donors. Since ON is an EA, ON’s contribution to the CATFund is always first used to provide for a CAT Fund contribution to the ON EA countries. This is easiest procedurally. Towards the end of theFY, any outstanding ON contribution to the CAT Fund which is not yet transferred to ON EA countries, is transferred to other parts of Oxfam who need to use the CAT Fund for emergency response.
