About this project

The well-drilling project at the secondary school in Douar Sart is a comprehensive development initiative aimed at improving livingand educational conditions in the area. It seeks to provide a sustainable source of drinking water for more than 600 students and staff through modern technology and solar-powered systems managed intelligently and sustainably. The project also aims to create green spaces within the school to improve the learning environment and raise environmental awareness. In its second phase, the project focuses on empowering women by creating a weaving and local products cooperative, building on the skills possessed by about 90% of women in the area. It aims to integrate rural women into the economy, combat vulnerability, reduce socialand regional inequalities, and provide sustainable income. Thus, the project represents a model of sustainable development combining technological innovation, environmental preservation, and women’s empowerment.
