About this project

LAND-at-Scale is a land governance support programme for developing countries. A large part of the world's population depends on having secure access to land for their incomes and livelihoods. LAND-at-scale aims to contribute to fair and just tenure security, access to land and natural resources for all. To deliver the support to the Land@Scale program in Chad, Oxfam Novib, Oxfam Intermon (executive affiliate of Oxfam in Chad), Kadaster and FAO form a consortium partnership. Our consortium’s vision is that capitalising on the expertise, scientific and local knowledge in the land sector in Chad and abroad, and wide outreach of key stakeholders we can propose socio-technical innovative systems to securing land rights in Bahr Linia and a 2nd pilot area. Kadaster supports governments in making policy based on facts. In this way, we contribute to a sustainable design of the environment in which we live. Where everyone has the right to talk and participate. We work from a strong and sustainable foundation. So that in an ever-changing society, we can keep our information reliable, secure and always available For this project, Kadaster overall mission is to provide technicalsupport in securing land rights through their cutting edge land administration methodologies and expertise. Kadaster has extensive knowledge and skills regarding land registration, land consolidation and providing geographic information.
