TAMER - Protection

About this project

Tamer Institute will lead the implementation of community-based child protection, child participation, creative psychosocial and recreational activities, and family engagement interventions in Gaza City and the Middle Area, building on its extensive experience inchild-focused programming and its strong community presence in these locations. Wefaq Society will implement the same integrated package of child protection interventions in Al-Mawasi (Khan Younis and Rafah), while contributing specialised expertise in protectioncase management and support for orphaned children. Moreover, through its long-established orphan support programme, Wefaq will leverage its trusted relationships with affected families and its regularly updated database of orphaned children to facilitate the timely identification, outreach, and follow-up of highly vulnerable children despite continued displacement and population movements.
