About this project

ESDC will work mainly on establishment and operation of demonstration sites and training in two levels including the olive farmers and the olive mills in the target areas as they will provide training on sustainable and climate-resilient agriculture for framers and facilitate access to improved harvesting tools and equipment these interventions will be more specialized, precise and comprehensive by applying them to a number of demonstration plots on the other hand, with regard to olive mill, work will becarried out to further adapt it to incorporate climate-smart techniques that reduce energy consumption and promote green production practices. This will include promoting renewable energy solutions for olive oil mills, building the capacity of mill ownerson sustainable milling practices, and implementing environmentally friendly waste disposal methods through piloting new waste management solutions as well as they will work on facilitate the collaboration between key stakeholders in the Palestinian olivesector, for more effective policies toward green transition in the olive oil industry.
