About this project
The aim is to enhance the resilience and productivity of small-scale farmers by improving their access to essential agricultural inputs and where possible conducting a light rehabilitation of critical agricultural infrastructure. Through this output, theproject will support farmers with high-quality seeds, fertilizers, tools, and other necessary inputs to restore and sustain their production.Additionally, the rehabilitation of damaged irrigation systems, greenhouses, and other key infrastructures will enable small farmers to adapt to the ongoing crises, increase yields, and improve their income stability. We will try to facilitate the entry of essential agricultural inputs by importing them from outside and will exert efforts to get the relevant approvals. Also, the project supports creating temp. employment through CfW activities. This output will contribute to strengthening local food systems, fostering food security, helping meet immediate household needs, revitalise community assets, stimulating local market activity, and providing a window for opportunity for agri. Sector economic growth.
