About this project

MA’AN will implement Outcomes 1 and 2 in Ramallah and Al-Bireh Governorate, focusing on integrated livelihood recovery, food security, and strengthening local and green economic systems. MA’AN will deliver cash-for-work and land rehabilitation activitiesto provide short-term income while improving productive and community infrastructure. It will enhance food security by linking vulnerable households with local producers through integrated food assistance and by supporting small-scale farmers with inputsand Good Agricultural Practices training. In parallel, MA’AN will support small businesses and cooperatives through technical assistance, productive asset support, financial literacy, and market linkages, while delivering market-aligned TVET and green skills training in partnership with the private sector. MA’AN will also promote youth- and women-led innovation through Water–Energy–Food initiatives, piloting practical solutions that strengthen resilience and local value chains.Outcome 1: Secured basic needs and enhanced immediate livelihood opportunities -Output 1.1: Temporary employment (CfW) - Activities: (1.1.1.a) Conduct needs assessment; and bene-ficiary selection(1.1.1.b) Hire 250 unemployed individuals (at least 75 women, including youth/disabled)for infrastructure rehab (water, roads, schools).
