SMP _ Production <(>&<)> Technical Lead _ Kompong Thom <(>&<)> Lumphat: Activity 1.1: Conduct needs assessments and select farmer groups (ACs/PGs): This foundational activity ensures that project interventions are targeted and effective. A team from SMP will conduct field visits to Kampong Thom and Lumphat to engage with potential ACs and PGs. A structured needs assessment will be carried outto evaluate their current production practices, institutional capacity, market linkages, and commitment to the project. Based on clear selection criteria, the most suitable groups will be chosen to participate in the pilot. The budget covers travel, per diems forSMP staff, and per diems to ensure the participation of AC and PG members in initial consultations. Activity 1.2: Deliver comprehensive technical training on Good Agricultural Practices (GAP), climate-smart agriculture, and pest management. Activity 1.2: Comprehensive Technical Training Program SMP will lead the implementation of a comprehensive technical trainingprogram targeting 100 farmers across 3-4 Cashew Nut Producer Groups (CNPGs). The training program will cover advanced Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) including climate-smart agriculture techniques, integrated pest management, proper pruning and graftingmethods, and efficient harvesting techniques.
