PARC DEC DOC

About this project

The fund will support our two partners under the DEC response, namely Palestinian Environmental Friends (PEF) and Palestinian Agricultural Development Association (PARC) with emergency financial support that will be used for operational and duty of care costs arising from the current situation. Both partners suffered substantial damages to their offices in Gaza and are in the urgent needs of an unrestricted and flexible funding that is not attached to the project costs and can be used to cover essential needs such as repair work, rental of the new premises, purchase of office assets etc. This is not exhaustive list as needs of the two partners are much higher, but this DoC fund will definitely contribute to rebuilding their operational capacity and will alleviate the burden on them and financial stress that usually comes from the administrative restrictions related to the % allocations that NGOs can usually allocate to the support/operational costs. Partner staff: Palestinian Environmental Friends (PEF) Palestinian Agricultural Development Association (PARC) With an equal split in the financial allocation While more donors are being open to cover the essential duty of care under current horrific circumstances that our staff and partners were and still to and extend going through, and do understand the gravity of the issue as well as grow to understand that the current cumbersome bureaucratic procedures are not fit anymore inthe context of Gaza, the changes are happening slow…
